When I got my new Kindle, I was very motivated to protect it! I was looking for something easy to handle but durable. This is it! The only negative I can see is that the edges are open, so bringing it outdoors would still pose a problem. I still need some type of pouch to transport it. Other than that, it was easy to install and works great.

Of course, there are some higher priced covers available that I would love to have had...but they are almost half as much as the Kindle itself. For basics and practicability, this cover is a winner. I was not even aware there were hooks to in the Kindle itself, let alone hooks to correspond and hook to the cover to prevent it from falling out. I was sure it would be some lame plastic sheathing we would have to insert it in...I was quite pleased. So for a basic covering of your Kindle, this cover is the right fit!
